Some catching up...
Yes it's true, Dana is back to work on Monday (Feb 25) shooting 7 new episodes of Desperate Housewives! It's back on the air mid-April, with possibly 5 eps and a 2 hour finale. They may be working 6 day weeks to catch up. Dana says she has no secrets to share about what's coming on DH because she's not told, and that might partly be because she admits she's bad at keeping secrets!
Dana says the dress at the SAGs was a Canadian designer named Romona Keveza. (there's a pic of Dana in the Red Carpet section of the web site!)
With the time off, Dana says she's been just hanging with friends, doing yoga, and cleaning her closets. But good news for fans who enjoy her singing...she's been taking some vocal lessons!
More to come...

Lot's of news!
Dana
recently recorded an audio book of Life on the Refrigerator
Door by Alice Kuipers.
The website
for the book is here. Info on the CD can be found at the
Harper Audio site, which offers an audio sample as well.
It's available at Amazon.com.
Dana's been recently working on
episode 7 of Desperate Housewives. An article quoted
Dana as saying she signed a 6-year contract, and it's true.
But, she's taking some time to
shoot another indie film, in PA, called Route 30 written
and directed by John Putch who directed her in A
Time to Remember. Kevin Rahm, who plays 1/2 of the new
gay couple on Wisteria Lane, is also in it. It's a comedy with
three intersecting story lines, where Dana plays an Amish
woman who drinks, smokes and swears!
In November, Dana will be back
in NYC to be honored by the New York Stage and Film,
the company she worked with at Vassar.

also a Reuters story here.
According to the Washington Post, Kidnapped will move to 9 p.m. (ET) Saturdays, starting Oct. 21. Its 10 p.m. Wednesday slot will be filled by "Dateline," starting next week. Sounds like a kind of 2-week hiatus.
Dana's

NBC will air all 13 eps in sequence and wrap up the
mystery. If the ratings improve, NBC may reconsider and order more
episodes. So fans can help revive it!
