Desperate Housewives

Dana recently tweeted "Had dinner w/ Marc Cherry and YES hope to return to [Desperate Housewives] this spring." A few articles then appeared saying that it might happen as well.

Articles then started appearing saying it was definite. But at this time, no deal has actually been worked out yet for Dana to appear again on Desperate Housewives.

Jimmy Kimmel

Dana made a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live bringing along a cooler full of animal organs that are used as props on Body Of Proof.

New Body of Proof episodes ordered

Recently ABC submitted orders for 3 more episodes to be produced of Body of Proof. With the original 13 ordered for S2, plus the 4 left from S1 (in the U.S.), plus this 3, that makes 20 episodes that should air this season. No word currently on renewal for a Season 3 (but it's still early).

Dana is lending her support to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in anticipation of November being Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

After losing her father to pancreatic cancer, Dana is committed to knowing, fighting and ending the disease. She has partnered with Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure.

Body of Proof Schedule

I asked Dana some questions about what's going on with how the Body of Proof episodes are being handled and scheduled, and she was very kind to supply some info (THANKS DANA!):

• Q: How many eps for Season 2 are you currently shooting?
  A: ABC ordered 13. We are on ep 6 now.
• Q: How many eps are planned to be shot for Season 2 total?
  A: If we get the back order, 22.
• Q: Will all the eps shot for Season 2 air in the US along with the Season 1 missing 4 eps?
  A: As far as I know the missing 4 will be seen within the first 5 shows of Season 2.
• Q: Will the global Season 2 only air the new eps (making the US Season 2 longer)?
  A: It might turn into a 26 episode year for the US and 22 globally.
• Q: Does the DVD really contain all 13 eps of Season 1?
  A: I would assume so, but I need to find out.

The reason I asked the last question is that it's a very unusual situation where episodes can be bought and viewed before they are aired (granted they were aired outside the U.S., but still).
